Meeting Minutes in Brief:
Meeting began at 7:45 pm
Secretary’s Report was read. Motion made to accept the minutes by Dick and
seconded by Paul . Motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report was read. Motion made to accept the report by Darlene and
seconded by Melissa . Motion passed.Old Business:
1. Talked about the club bowling tournament/raffle. Great turn out. Good
feedback on the basket raffles and 50/50 raffle. Discussed incentives for
selling raffle tickets.
2. Steve has information on the County Alliance scholarship fund for 2007.
3. January 6 has been booked at Isaar Inn for the club Christmas party.
New Business:
1. Woods party will be at Jake & Jill woods Saturday, October 21. Everyone is
to bring what they would like to eat and drink. Plenty of wood is available, if
you bring wood make sure it is clean wood with no nails, etc in it.
2. Florence County brush cutting will be the week-end of Oct 13, 14 & 15.
Call Patti at as soon as possible to get campsites booked. Florence County
Snowmobile club is again paying for the sites.
3. Club ride will be February 9 & 10. First option is to go to Sturgeon Bay
with the second choice to Carter. Don will book Sturgeon Bay and Rhonda will
book Carter.
4. John suggested a family ride the week-end of January 27 to allow children
to participate. Rhonda Mueller will also book this with Carter.
5. Snowmobile Safety Class is booked for November 4 & 11 starting at 9:00 to
12:00. Help is needed. See Patti or Melissa.
6. Steve shared with the group information from the county alliance meeting.
Funding has been approved for the railroad grade from Seymour to New London.
7. Need to contact landowners. See Steve for more information if you would
like to help.
8. Talked about the extended deer hunting season and putting up the trail
signs.
9. Date for working on the trail signs will be Saturday, October 21, 9:00am at
Dick .
10. Dave from Nichols was at the meeting to show his interest in grooming our
trails. ACTION: Steve will need to check with Dairyland to see what their
interest will be in future grooming needs.
11. Brush cutting needs to be done again along the rail grade in Seymour
behind the canning factory.
12.Election of officers:
a. Secretary-Treasurer Position: Motion made by Melissa for Patti to continue
as secretary/treasurer. Seconded by Rhonda . Motion carried.
b. Vice-President (Trail Boss) Position: Motion made by Melissa for Don to
keep the VP position and seconded by John . Motion passed.
c. President Position: Motion by Rhonda for Steve to keep the President
position. Steve remarked he would like to step down if someone else was
interested in taking the position. Seconded by Dick . Motion passed.
13. Other Info Shared:
a. 55 mph has passed – will be enforced from dusk to dawn
b. Get a new roster to all members
c. Talked about the date for the bowling tourney/raffle to get tickets made.
Talked about making changes to the tickets. Motion made by Don to keep the
ticket the same as it is. Seconded by Tracy . Motion passed.
14. Melissa talked about a incentives for the meetings and different tasks
done during the year. 50 /50 raffle will be done at each meeting with half of
the amount to accumulate from each meeting for one club member to win at the
last meeting.

Old business:Snowmobile safety class is full with 40 signed up
and some on the waiting list if anyone cancels. Call Patti Eisenreich if you can
help with the classes that are Nov. 4 and Nov. 11 from 9-12. If kids are
16 or older there is a web site you can take the test online.Trail
grooming: Steve Doersch said that Dairyland is interested in grooming our trails
again this year. If for any reason they cannot go out because of a breakdown
they didn’t have a problem with Dave Bott from Nichols helping out.Need to help contact the landowners to okay the crossing of the trail on
their property. When this is done fields can be leveled out for smoother
trails.Club ride: Motions were made and second to pick Sturgeon Bay
for our first choice for the club ride and Lakewood for the second. Americ Inn
in Sturgeon Bay has been booked for the club ride Feb. 9,10,11. Price is $57.60
includes tax. Call soon if you want to book your room.

Family
ride: Indian Springs Lodge in Carter WI has been booked for the family ride on
Jan. 27&28. This is a weekend to ride with you kids and have a lot of fun. Price
is $85 + tax. When booking your rooms let them know if you want to be next to
someone else from the club. Book soon rooms will go

20 Weather permitting we will be having a fall woods party in the woods of
Jake and Jill Hodkiewicz. Bring your own food and drink. Fire will be provided.
Jake said he will have a grill down there. Bring your chairs and anything else
you can think of to make it a fun evening. Clean wood (no pallets or anything
with nails) is also welcome.Fixing trail signs will be done Saturday
October 20 at 9 a.m. at Dick Stedls house. After fixing signs they will go out
and talk to land owners.New Business:
Snow Show in Green Bay is Nov.9-10-11. Club members plan on meeting by
the front door of the show on Friday night at 9 pm when the show closes for the
night) to go out for food and drinks. Come join the fun!Grass drags
at the Cow palace for the Twin County riders is Sat. Oct 21.The rail
trail through Seymour is getting closer to becoming a trail. Still wondering who
will take over the trail as part of their trail for grooming. Still waiting for
more funds.Florence County brush clean up went well. About 10 club
members went for the weekend to help. They had a good time. A little chilly and
some signs of SNOW!Meeting ended 9 p.m. Next meeting is November. 16.

called meeting to order at 7:40 pmSecretary’s report was read. Motion

seconded by Don Kropp.old Business:
Trails were put in on Dec. 2. Most of them are in but needed to wait with a
few because of corn. Hank Olson worked one other section with some machinery
because of ruts. All looks good now. After a day of putting up signs the guys
had lunch at Isaar Inn. Good job!! Thanks to all who helped! LET IT SNOW!!
Dec. 9 the trail was put in from Mainline to Main Street. A trail was also put
in to the Oneida Casino and gas station on Old Hwy 29.
Club ride Feb. 9,10,11. If you are interested you need to make reservations in
Sturgeon Bay at the Americ Inn 920-743-5898. If that is a no go we are planning
on going to Lakewood to the Best Western 715-276-1680. Call Now!! It will be
fun!!New Business:
Club Christmas party at the Isaar Inn is Jan. 6. Make sure you call Patty to
let her know your going.

Still waiting for funding to go through for the Seymour to New London trail.
If you know of a senior in high school that would be interested in applying
for a scholarship from the AWSC, look for applications in the school office.
When the snow gets here we are still planning on the Friday fish rides. They
leave at 7 p.m. from Jim and Jody’s house north of the Isaar at the end of
Isaar road. Steve will leave a message on his answer machine if we are going.

completed on Nov 4 & 11.- Steve read a thank you note from the Florence
County Snowmobile for (the week-end of Oct 13, 14 & 15) helping their club again
this year preparing their trail system.This took place- Trail signs
were repaired and landowners have been contacted.- Trail signs will be
put up on December 2 starting at 9:00 Meet at Dick & Darlene Stedl’s or Steve
Melchert’s dad place. Lunch to follow at Isaar. Some brush cutting still needs
to be done in Seymour near railroad grade trail.- Woods party reviewed
that was held at Jake & Jill Hodkiewicz’s- John & Cindy Doherty
updated us on the family club ride Sign up now.- Club adult ride was
discussed with 1st choice will be Sturgeon Bay. Some felt we should
still book another location, possibility the St. Germain area. This will be
looked into.- Some club members talked about attending the Sno Show in
Green Bay.- January 6 has been booked at Isaar Inn for the club
Christmas party. The menu will be the same as last yearNew

that the menu would be the same as last year.- Melissa Blom talked to
the members about having a little fun with a 50/50 raffle during the meetings
and also doing an incentive for a member that sells the most raffle

- Trail brushing in Florence county. Very wet had to cut
some big trees. Had very good time. Very thankful. Dave won the 50/50 raffle.
Nice weather.- Safety class went well thanks to Katie G. Did a very fine
job. Twenty-one students attended. Class was held on November 3 & 10. The
high school was a nice location.- Club Ride. Hayward was not an option for
this year. Patti booked Sturegon Bay. There are 10 rooms held until January 13
all non-smoking.- November trail signs were repaired and some new one
ordered. Don K was lout leveling trails. 95% ready to put trails in. Most
land owners have been contacted . Saturday, December 1 put up trail signs at 9
a.m. at Dick Stedls on county VV.- Raffle tickets are here! Sell your
tickets. Bowling si Friday, March 28 at Wally Seymour Bowl $2.00 each or 3 or
$5.00. All members are asked to get Door prizes.
Business
- Steve and Todd went to the meeting about the rail bed
trail. ATV people, horse people, snowmobilers, landowners, bikers, and walkers.
Snowmobilers do not want to share it with ATVs in winter. Most landowners
against ATV because of dust and noise. It will NOT be open for riding this
year. Still waiting for more funding.- Members and family of the
Kropps (father) and Grassel (father) club sent flowers. Our sympathy goes out
to them.- Don talked about trails in Houghton, MI. Landowners are
putting up fences closing off trails. Kewaunee Peninsula Chamber of Commerce
Petition to sign.- Maps should be at December meeting
